Loudspeaker Impedance
DC resistance, nominal impedance, magnitude, phase, resonance, enclosure, and temperature.
Use measured driver impedance and installed acoustic response to design the network, then verify the amplifier load, component heat, summation, and production tolerance.
A loudspeaker can be limited by impedance and amplifier current, voice-coil temperature, thermal compression, motor and suspension nonlinearity, enclosure unloading, displacement, or physical clearance. A single watt or Xmax number does not describe all of them.
